Heather thoroughly enjoys the most important aspects of her business: helping successful families, foundations and individuals determine what is most important to them and then creating a roadmap to get there. With over 25 years of wealth management experience, Heather specializes in making the complex easily understood. She enjoys the intellectual challenge of the always-evolving U.S. and global financial markets. Combining the principals of value, growth and fixed-income investing, Heather’s efforts are intended to enable individuals, families and foundations with significant assets to achieve their long-term financial expectations through a systematic process, which includes proactively identifying blind spots and risks to be mitigated.
Heather is a graduate of the Lakeside School and Connecticut College. She is one of the few women to have founded an NASD member investment firm (now FINRA), which was successfully folded into McAdams Wright Ragen in 2000 and which in turn merged with Baird in 2014. She is also a graduate of the Wharton/ SIFMA premier executive development program for the securities industry. She has earned eleven licenses with FINRA, including Financial and Operations Principal, Municipal Securities Principal, General Securities Principal and Investment Advisor Representative.
A Seattle native, Heather spent a year living in the south of France with her family; this experience supports both her global perspective and her current role as a committee chair of the French-American School of Puget Sound Board. Additionally, Heather is a member of the Seattle Business Roundtable, the Financial Planning Association, the Seattle Tennis Club, the Methow Conservancy and the Selkirk Conservancy. She is a Past-President of the Lakeside Alumni Board, a past Trustee of the Lakeside School Board, and has also served on other private company and non-profit boards. She and her family live in the Seattle area and enjoy many Northwest activities, including skiing, biking, hiking and reading on rainy days.
